‘Emergence’ at London Heathrow’s new Terminal 2 Departures Lounge is a lighting sculpture that was commissioned to captivate an audience by creating a mesmerising lighting feature at the Caviar House and Prunier seafood bar.
This unique, innovative and eye catching installation heralds the arrival of Caviar House and Prunier to their new anchor location at the airport and captures the re-imagined movement of a school of fish moving underwater; itself a phenomenon known as ‘emergence’.
In 2015, Emergence won the Special Projects Award at the Lighting Design Awards (details), the Best Decorative Lighting Installation Award at the DARC Awards (details). It was also shortlisted for the Decorative Lighting Award at the 2015 Restaurant and Bar Design Awards (details).
